About this card

Genesis Crystals are the paid currency in Genshin Impact, and almost everything they do begins with converting them one-for-one into Primogems. Primogems buy Fates — an Intertwined Fate for the limited character and weapon banners, an Acquaint Fate for the standard one — at 160 Primogems per wish. Crystals also pay directly for the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass, the Blessing of the Welkin Moon and character outfits, which is where a lot of the money goes for players who do not chase five-stars.

HoYoverse sells crystals in fixed packs — 60, 300, 980, 1,980, 3,280 and 6,480 — and doubles the first purchase of each tier, once. The two tiers that clear our $50 floor are the ones this ladder starts from: $49.99 buys 3,280 crystals, or 6,560 if that tier is still untouched on the account, and $99.99 buys 6,480, or 12,960 first time. At 160 Primogems a wish, 6,480 crystals is a little over forty pulls — worth doing the arithmetic before a banner rather than during it.

Two locks decide whether this card is usable at all, and both bite. The first is the platform: crystals topped up this way live on the HoYoverse account and spend on PC, iOS and Android. PlayStation runs a completely separate wallet — crystals bought on PSN stay on PSN, and crystals bought anywhere else cannot be spent on a PlayStation. The second is the server region. An account is created on America, Europe, Asia or TW-HK-MO, crystals do not cross between them, and this card is for an Americas account.

Topping up needs your UID and a sign-in at the HoYoverse Top-Up Centre — nothing from us. We never see a HoYoverse login, never ask for identity documents and never open an account for you: a delivery email, a payment in the coin you already hold, and the code arrives in about eleven minutes. That is the whole appeal for a game whose spend is impulsive and whose top-up page otherwise wants a card on file.

Asked & answered

Specifics for Genshin Impact cards. For general crypto-payment questions, see the site FAQ.

Will these crystals work on my PlayStation?

No, and this is the mistake that costs people money. PlayStation keeps a separate Genesis Crystal wallet: crystals bought through PSN can only be spent on a PlayStation, and crystals topped up anywhere else — including this card — cannot be spent there. Buy this only if you play on PC, iOS or Android with a HoYoverse account.

Which server region does it work on?

The Americas server. A Genshin account is created on America, Europe, Asia or TW-HK-MO, and Genesis Crystals do not cross between them — there is no conversion and no support route to move a balance. Check the server shown at the login screen before you pay; it is not something you can change afterwards.

What is the difference between Genesis Crystals and Primogems?

Genesis Crystals are the paid currency; Primogems are the one the game hands out for quests, exploration and events. Crystals convert into Primogems one-for-one in the shop, and the conversion is one-way. Primogems are what actually buy Fates for the banners, at 160 Primogems per wish.

How many wishes does a card buy?

At 160 Primogems per wish: the $49.99 tier is 3,280 crystals, or about twenty pulls, and the $99.99 tier is 6,480 crystals, a little over forty. If the account has never bought that tier before, HoYoverse's one-time double takes them to 6,560 and 12,960 respectively — roughly forty and eighty wishes.

Do I get the first-purchase double bonus?

That depends on the account, not on the card. HoYoverse doubles the first purchase of each crystal tier once per account, so an account that has never bought the 6,480 pack gets 12,960 the first time and 6,480 every time after. Nothing about buying the top-up here changes the bonus either way — it is tracked on the HoYoverse side.

Can I spend crystals on the Battle Pass or a character outfit?

Yes, and for a lot of players that is better value than pulling. Genesis Crystals pay directly for the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass, the Blessing of the Welkin Moon and character outfits in the in-game shop, without converting to Primogems first. Only the wishing side needs the Primogem conversion step.

Do the crystals expire, or can I move them to another account?

They do not expire — once credited they sit on the account until spent. They are also bound to the UID they were topped up to: there is no transfer between HoYoverse accounts, no gifting of a balance, and no cash-out except where the law requires it. Enter the UID carefully at the Top-Up Centre.

Which coins can I pay with, and is there a minimum?

Eight — Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, Litecoin and TRON. The floor on gift cards is $50 USD-equivalent, which is why the ladder starts at the $49.99 crystal tier. No account with us, no KYC and no identity document — we ask for a delivery email and nothing else.
