About this card
Buffalo Wild Wings runs roughly 1,200 sports bars across the United States, plus the smaller takeout-first B-Dubs GO format. The proposition has not moved since Columbus, Ohio in 1982: traditional and boneless wings tossed in more than twenty sauces and dry rubs — Sweet BBQ, Honey BBQ, Asian Zing, Parmesan Garlic, Caribbean Jerk, Mango Habanero, Desert Heat and the Blazin' that fronts the challenge — with burgers, tacos and Ultimate Nachos around them, a long beer list, and walls of screens carrying whatever is on.
The card is store credit against that bill. Buffalo Wild Wings states that it redeems "at any participating Buffalo Wild Wings sports bar and select locations online", and that gift cards never expire or lose value — there is no dormancy fee and no clock. It stacks with a tab rather than replacing it: hand it over with the bill, the balance comes off, and you settle any remainder however you like.
Buying it here needs no B-Dubs account, no card on file and no identity check. You give us a delivery email, pay in the coin you already hold, and the claim code arrives in about eleven minutes. That also makes it a workable way to fund someone else's game day from outside the United States, which the brand's own gift-card checkout is not set up to do.
Two constraints decide whether this card is useful to a given person. First, an order placed inside DoorDash or Uber Eats cannot be paid with it — those apps bill you themselves, so the wings have to be ordered through the Buffalo Wild Wings app or website (delivery included) for the balance to apply. Second, "participating" is doing real work: licensed B-Dubs outlets inside stadiums, airports and casinos frequently do not take the card. Inspire Brands owns Arby's, Dunkin' and Sonic as well, but each runs its own programme — this balance is Buffalo Wild Wings and nothing else.
