About this card

Blaze Pizza opened in Pasadena in 2011 and now runs more than 340 restaurants across 38 states and six countries. The model is one line and one price: an 11-inch dough is stretched in front of you, you name as many toppings as you like without the bill moving, and an open-flame oven finishes the pizza in about 180 seconds. Gluten-free and keto crusts sit on the same line. LeBron James backed the chain early, franchises a bank of stores himself and remains its public face.

The card is one of the few fast-casual cards that genuinely works in all three channels — at the counter, on blazepizza.com and inside the Blaze Pizza app, where it sits next to Blaze Rewards. It is stored value rather than a coupon: drawn down across visits, no expiration date, no dormancy fee, shortfall settled with another payment method. It cannot be used to buy another gift card, and once the code is delivered it is not replaced if it is lost or used without your say-so.

Buying it here needs no Blaze account, no app install and no identity check. You hand us a delivery email, pay in whichever of the eight coins you already hold, and the code arrives in about eleven minutes — which is how you put a US fast-casual card in someone's hands from outside the country.

Three constraints, all specific to this brand. The card works at most traditional restaurants but is excluded at airport, stadium and certain campus locations — UCLA and George Mason among them. It is valid only in the country where it was issued, so this US card does not travel to Blaze's Canadian or Middle Eastern shops. And an order placed inside DoorDash or Uber Eats is paid to the delivery app, not to Blaze, so spend the balance in the Blaze app instead if you want it delivered. On the upside, California law lets you cash out a remaining balance under $15 at the counter.

What you get

  • A claim code, delivered by email
  • A private order page (14-day access)
  • Re-issue or full refund if the code fails
  • No Blaze Pizza login or ID required

Asked & answered

Specifics for Blaze Pizza cards. For general crypto-payment questions, see the site FAQ.

Does it work in the Blaze Pizza app and on the website, or only in the restaurant?

All three. Blaze gift cards are accepted for food and beverages at participating restaurants, on blazepizza.com and inside the Blaze Pizza app, where the card sits alongside Blaze Rewards at the payment step. That is unusual for a fast-casual chain — several big US brands still restrict their cards to the till.

Are there Blaze locations that will not take it?

Yes, and the exclusions are named rather than vague. The card works at most traditional restaurants but is not accepted at airport, stadium and certain campus locations, including UCLA and George Mason University. Those sites are run under concession agreements with their own tills, so check before sending a card to a student on one of those campuses.

Can I use it in DoorDash or Uber Eats?

No. An order placed inside DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub is a purchase from the delivery app, and those apps accept only their own stored payment methods. The good news specific to Blaze: the Blaze Pizza app takes the card and does delivery itself, so the balance can still buy pizza that comes to the door.

Do unlimited toppings really cost the same?

Yes — that is the whole pricing model. A build-your-own 11-inch pizza is one flat price whatever you pile on it, from three toppings to twelve, and the oven runs at around 500°F so it is done in about 180 seconds either way. Signature pies, gluten-free and keto crusts and drinks are priced separately, and the card covers all of it.

Will a US card work at a Blaze Pizza abroad?

No. Blaze gift cards are valid only in the country where the card was issued, and this row is issued in the United States. Blaze trades in Canada and the Middle East as well, but those restaurants run their own card programme — buy this one for somebody eating in the US.

Does the balance expire, and what happens to the last few dollars?

No expiration date and no dormancy fees. The remainder simply stays on the code between visits. In California, state law lets you take a remaining balance under $15 as cash at the counter, which is a tidy way to close out a card rather than leaving three dollars stranded on it.

How fast does the code arrive, and can I send it to someone else?

The code is emailed once your payment confirms on chain, about eleven minutes on median. Put the recipient's address in the delivery field at checkout and it goes straight to them — the code is never shown on the payment page, so it stays between the two of you.

Which coins can I pay with, and is there a minimum?

Eight — Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, Litecoin and TRON. The floor on gift cards is $50 USD-equivalent, so the smallest Blaze Pizza card here is $50. No account, no KYC and no identity document at any point.
