About this card
Foot Locker runs roughly 2,400 company-operated stores across more than 20 countries, plus about a thousand more under licence, and is the shop most people picture when they picture buying sneakers: the launch calendar, the wall of Jordans and Dunks, the running section that actually stocks widths. The gift card is credit on that, and in the United States it is genuinely a family card — the same balance spends at Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Champs Sports, in their stores and on their websites, which is why one card covers a household with a size 4 and a size 13 in it.
The family has edges. Footaction was wound down in 2022 and its stores converted; the Eastbay consumer site was folded into Foot Locker the same year, so there is no separate Eastbay card to worry about any more, though Eastbay Team Sales still trades for teams. WSS and atmos belong to the same group but run their own gift-card programmes, and since the business became part of DICK'S Sporting Goods the two chains have kept their card programmes separate — a Foot Locker balance does not spend at DICK'S.
Geography is the other edge, and it is strict. There are three different cards here, not one card in three currencies: US dollars for the American banners, Canadian dollars for footlocker.ca and the Canadian stores, and euros issued specifically for the Spanish estate. European Foot Locker cards are country-scoped, so a Spanish card is not a French or Italian one, and nothing crosses the Atlantic in either direction. Buy the country the recipient actually shops in.
Everything else behaves the way a store card should: the balance applies at the till or at online checkout, part-spends with the remainder left on the card, stacks with other codes, and carries no expiry or dormancy fee. Buying it here needs no Foot Locker account, no card on file and no identity check — a delivery email, the coin you already hold, and the code lands in about eleven minutes.
