About this card
Finish Line, founded in Indianapolis in 1976, is a US sneaker retailer built on the running and basketball walls: Nike, Jordan, adidas, New Balance, Hoka, Brooks, ASICS and Puma, plus the apparel and the socks nobody plans to buy and everybody does. The card is store credit on that catalogue at finishline.com and in Finish Line-operated stores.
Where those stores are has changed, and it is worth being straight about it. JD Sports bought Finish Line in 2018 and has since re-bannered much of the standalone mall estate under its own JD Sports name — and a JD Sports store will not accept a Finish Line gift card. What remains reliably Finish Line is the website and the several hundred Finish Line shops that run the athletic footwear floor inside Macy's, a partnership going back to 2012. Look at the fascia over the door before you plan a trip around this card; online, the question never comes up.
The balance itself is straightforward, with one hard rule worth knowing: online, a maximum of three e-gift cards can be applied to a single order. Within that, value part-spends and the remainder stays on the card, a shortfall goes to a second payment method, and the balance carries no expiry or dormancy fee under the US terms. Launch and limited-release pairs check out through the same cart as everything else, so a balance is a usable way to be ready for a drop.
Buying it here needs no Finish Line account, no card on file and no identity check — a delivery email, the coin you already hold, and the code lands in about eleven minutes. That is also the practical way to put a US sneaker balance in someone's hands from outside the country, since finishline.com wants a US payment method at its own checkout.
