About this card

BritBox is the joint BBC and ITV streaming service, and in the United States it is the only place most of that catalogue legally lives: the classic Doctor Who era, Line of Duty, Vera, Shetland, Silent Witness, Father Brown, decades of EastEnders, the whole Britcom shelf from Fawlty Towers down, plus originals commissioned for the service itself. It is a specialist library rather than a general streamer, which is exactly why people keep it running all year.

The US service has two tiers. Standard is $10.99 a month or $109.99 a year — ad-free, two streams, up to 720p. Premier is $149.99 a year and adds four streams, 1080p with some titles in 4K, offline downloads, and early access that can run weeks ahead of the weekly broadcast schedule. A gift card does not pick a tier for you: the value lands as credit and whichever plan the account runs simply eats it at its own rate, so $109.99 is a full Standard year and roughly nine months of Premier.

Buying it here needs no BritBox account, no card on file and no identity check. You give us a delivery email, pay in the coin you already hold, and the claim code arrives in about eleven minutes. That also makes this a workable way to fund a US household's subscription from outside the country, which BritBox's own checkout will not do without a US payment method.

Two constraints worth naming before you pay. The credit only applies to a subscription BritBox bills directly — if the viewer added BritBox as a channel inside Amazon Prime Video or the Roku Channel, that bill belongs to the reseller and the code cannot touch it. And this is a US card: it is no use in the United Kingdom, where BritBox stopped running as a standalone service and its titles now sit inside ITVX Premium.

What you get

  • A claim code, delivered by email
  • A private order page (14-day access)
  • Re-issue or full refund if the code fails
  • No BritBox login or ID required

Asked & answered

Specifics for BritBox cards. For general crypto-payment questions, see the site FAQ.

Does the card buy a fixed number of months, or credit?

Credit. BritBox sells fixed-length gift subscriptions separately; what you get here is gift-card value that posts to the account balance and is drawn down by each renewal. On Standard at $10.99 a month that is about four and a half months for $50 and a full year for $109.99; on Premier at $149.99 a year it goes roughly a third less far.

Does a BritBox gift card expire?

No. BritBox states plainly that its gift cards do not expire and incur no fees, so nothing erodes the balance while it sits on the account. That is worth knowing because it is not the norm in this category — several streaming and music codes elsewhere in the catalogue must be activated within twelve months of purchase.

Will it work if I subscribe through Amazon Prime Video Channels or Roku?

No. Adding BritBox as a channel inside Amazon Prime Video or the Roku Channel means the reseller bills you, not BritBox, and gift-card credit cannot be applied to someone else's invoice. The subscription has to be one BritBox bills directly at britbox.com. If the viewer is on a reseller plan, cancel there and re-subscribe on britbox.com before redeeming.

Can I use this in the United Kingdom?

No, and there is no UK version to buy instead. BritBox stopped operating as a standalone UK service and the British catalogue there now sits behind ITVX Premium, a completely separate subscription with its own billing. This card is redeemable in the United States only, on a US BritBox account.

I am already a subscriber — can I still redeem one?

Yes. BritBox accepts gift-card redemption from new, returning and currently active subscribers alike. On an active account the credit simply sits as balance and pays the next renewal instead of your card, and multiple cards can be stacked on one account to push the paid-through date further out.

Does the credit cover Premier, with downloads and early episodes?

Yes. The card funds whichever tier the account is on, so it pays for Premier just as readily as Standard — including its four simultaneous streams, 1080p and selected 4K, offline downloads, and the early access that puts new episodes up ahead of the weekly schedule. Premier costs more, so the same balance covers fewer months.

How fast does the code arrive, and can I send it to someone else?

The claim code is emailed once your payment confirms on chain, which takes about eleven minutes on median. Type the recipient's address into the delivery field at checkout and it goes straight to them — the code is never shown on the payment page, so it stays between the two of you.

Which coins can I pay with, and is there a minimum?

Eight — Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, Litecoin and TRON. The floor on gift cards is $50 USD-equivalent, so the smallest BritBox card here is $50 and the largest is $250, which is BritBox's own ceiling. No account, no KYC and no identity document at any point.
