حول هذه البطاقة

Wine.com has been selling wine online since 1998 and is the largest retailer of its kind in the United States, listing tens of thousands of labels — everything from everyday bottles to allocated wines — alongside a sommelier chat service, ratings and tasting notes on most listings, and StewardShip, the annual membership that covers shipping on qualifying orders. It is a licensed retailer, not a marketplace: the licences it holds state by state are what decide where an order can go.

The card is account credit on that catalogue. The code goes on to a US wine.com account, comes off the order total at checkout — bottles and the shipping charge alike — and any remainder stays on the account for the next order. Codes are single-use and not reloadable, the balance is not exchanged for cash, and it cannot be used to buy another gift card. Under the standard US terms the balance does not expire.

What a gift card does not do is worth stating plainly, because it is the part people get wrong. It is tender, nothing more. The purchaser and the person taking delivery must be 21 or over; an adult signature is required at the door, so a shipment cannot be left unattended or sent to a PO box; and Wine.com can only ship to an address in a state where it is licensed to do so. Several states permit no direct-to-consumer wine shipment at all — Utah and Mississippi among them — and others cap volumes or impose their own paperwork. The checkout enforces this on the delivery address whatever the payment method, so a balance that cannot legally be delivered simply sits unused.

Buying the code here needs no Wine.com account, no card on file and no identity check at our end: a delivery email, the coin you already hold, and it arrives in about eleven minutes once the payment confirms on chain. The age and licensing checks happen at Wine.com, at redemption and at delivery, exactly as they would for any other payment method. Check the destination state before spending the value.

الأسئلة والأجوبة

تفاصيل خاصة ببطاقات Wine.com. للأسئلة العامة حول الدفع بالعملات المشفرة، راجع الأسئلة الشائعة.

Does a gift card change where wine can be shipped?

No. Direct-to-consumer wine shipping is decided state by state, and Wine.com ships only where it holds the necessary licence. A few states allow no direct wine shipment at all — Utah and Mississippi among them — while others cap volume or add permit requirements. The checkout blocks a destination it cannot legally serve no matter how the order is paid for.

Does it change the age check on delivery?

No. The purchaser and the person receiving the order must both be 21 or over, and the carrier requires an adult signature with valid ID at the door. A wine shipment is never left unattended and is not delivered to a PO box. The gift card settles the bill; it has no bearing on any of that.

Does the balance cover the shipping charge, or only the bottles?

Both. The value is applied against the order total at checkout, so the shipping line and applicable taxes come out of it along with the wine. Members of StewardShip, the annual shipping membership, already have qualifying shipping covered, in which case more of the balance goes on the order itself.

Can I use it to buy another gift card?

No. Wine.com's terms exclude buying gift cards or gift certificates with an existing card balance, which is a standard anti-laundering rule across retail gift-card programmes. The balance is spendable on the catalogue and on the shipping and tax attached to an order, and nothing else.

What happens if nobody 21 or over is home?

The carrier will not leave the package. It is normally reattempted, held at a depot for collection with ID, or eventually returned to the retailer — and a returned wine shipment can carry a charge. Wine shipments are also commonly held during extreme heat or cold to protect the bottles, so timing a delivery matters more than with ordinary parcels.

Does the balance expire, and can I combine several codes?

Under the brand's standard US terms the balance does not expire. More than one code can sit on the same account and be drawn down in sequence, and if an order costs more than the balance covers, the remainder goes on whatever payment method is added alongside at checkout.

How fast does the code arrive, and can I send it to someone else?

The code is emailed once your payment confirms on chain — about eleven minutes on median. Put the recipient's address in the delivery field at checkout and it goes straight to them; the code is never shown on the payment page. Note that the recipient must be 21 or over to redeem it and to take delivery.

Which coins can I pay with, and is there a minimum?

Eight — Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, Litecoin and TRON. The floor is $50 USD-equivalent, so the smallest Wine.com card here is $50, with a custom amount up to $1,000. No account, no KYC and no identity document on our side of the transaction.
