このカードについて

Columbia Sportswear started in 1938 as a Portland hat distributor and now sells weather protection by the technology name: Omni-Heat thermal reflective linings, Omni-Tech waterproof-breathable shells, Omni-Shade sun fabric and Omni-Freeze ZERO cooling. The catalogue behind those labels is broad and unglamorous in the best way — insulated parkas, fleece, rain jackets, snow trousers, hiking and winter boots, PFG fishing shirts, and a deep kids range that gets replaced every growth spurt.

Here is the constraint that decides whether this is the right card: it spends only on the Columbia nameplate. Columbia Sportswear Company also owns SOREL, Mountain Hardwear and prAna, and each of those runs a separate storefront with a separate gift-card programme. A Columbia card will not pay for a SOREL Caribou or a Mountain Hardwear tent. What it does cover is columbia.com plus Columbia's own US retail and outlet stores, where the same code works at the till.

The credit itself behaves like cash on the account: it is applied at the payment step, it works on full price, sale and clearance alike, whatever is left stays on the card for the next order, and anything the card does not cover is settled with a second payment method. There is no expiry and no dormancy or service fee, so a card bought for a September birthday is still whole when the first cold snap arrives.

Buying it here needs no Columbia account, no card on file and no identity check — a delivery email is the only thing we ask for. That also makes it a workable gift from outside the United States, with one caveat worth naming before you pay: columbia.com ships to US addresses, so the person redeeming it needs to be shopping the US store.

よくある質問と回答

Columbia Sportswear カードの固有情報です。暗号通貨決済に関する一般的な質問は サイトFAQ.

Does it work at SOREL, Mountain Hardwear or prAna?

No. Columbia Sportswear Company owns all three, but they are run as separate businesses with separate websites, separate checkouts and their own gift-card programmes. A Columbia card is refused at SOREL, Mountain Hardwear and prAna. If the boot or the tent is the actual present, buy that brand's own card instead.

Can I use it in Columbia outlet stores?

Yes. The same code is accepted at Columbia's US retail and outlet stores as well as on columbia.com — hand it over at the till, or have it scanned from the email on a phone. Outlets are where the card tends to go furthest, since the markdowns there stack with the gift-card balance rather than competing with it.

Does it work on sale and clearance items?

Yes. A gift card is a payment method, not a coupon, so it applies after every discount has already come off — full price, seasonal sale, clearance and any promo code you have. Nothing about paying with the card changes the price you are quoted at checkout.

What if my order costs more than the card is worth?

You pay the difference with a normal card or wallet at the same checkout — Columbia settles the gift card first and charges only the remainder. It also works the other way: if the order is smaller than the balance, the leftover value stays on the card and is available at the next order or the next store visit.

Does the balance expire or shrink over time?

No. Columbia gift-card balances do not expire and carry no service, dormancy or inactivity fee, comfortably inside the five-year federal floor set by the US Credit CARD Act. A card bought today is worth exactly the same face value several winters from now.

Can someone outside the United States use it?

Only by shopping the US store. The card redeems on columbia.com, which ships to US addresses, and at Columbia's US stores. Columbia's other country sites run their own currencies and their own cards. Buying from abroad as a gift is fine — the recipient just has to be shopping and shipping in the US.

How fast does the code arrive, and can I send it straight to someone else?

The code is emailed once your payment confirms on chain, which takes about eleven minutes on median. Put the recipient's address in the delivery field at checkout and it goes to them directly — the code is never displayed on the payment page, so it stays between the two of you.

Which coins can I pay with, and is there a minimum?

Eight — Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, Litecoin and TRON. The floor on gift cards is $50 USD-equivalent, so the smallest Columbia card here is $50 and the ladder runs to $500 with a custom amount up to $1,000. No account, no KYC, no identity document at any point.
