PCS Recharge (also known as "Ticket PCS") is a 16-digit code that tops up an existing PCS Mastercard. PCS is a French prepaid Mastercard rail operated by Edenred, sold across ~10,000 physical sales points in France (tabacs, PMU, supermarkets) and online. The Recharge code is the canonical way to reload a PCS Mastercard without going through a bank or a credit card — the model is "cash for your prepaid card", and the code only becomes spendable once you load it onto a PCS Mastercard you already own.
The use case is specific. PCS holders use Recharge to keep their card funded for everyday online and offline spend: e-commerce, subscriptions, ATMs, point-of-sale at any Mastercard-accepting merchant in France or abroad. Because the PCS Mastercard sits behind the funds, you get the full Mastercard acceptance footprint — far broader than any prepaid voucher's merchant network. The trade-off is that you need an active PCS card; if you don't already have one, get one at mypcs.com first, then return for the Recharge code.
