Informazioni su questa carta

Omaha Steaks has been cutting and shipping Midwest beef since 1917, when a Latvian immigrant butcher and his son opened a meat business in Omaha, Nebraska; the same family still runs it, five generations on. What arrives is not restaurant food: individually vacuum-sealed, flash-frozen portions — filet mignon, the Butcher's Cut top sirloin, ribeyes, PureGround burgers, chicken and seafood, plus sides such as potatoes au gratin and the caramel apple tartlets — packed into a polystyrene cooler with dry ice and handed to a carrier. Steaks are aged before cutting and portioned to a fixed weight, which is why a box behaves like a stocked freezer rather than a grocery run.

The card is plain store credit against that catalogue and it is spent at checkout on omahasteaks.com, over the phone, or at an Omaha Steaks company store. The detail that separates it from a restaurant card: the balance pays the entire order, shipping and handling included. That is a genuine feature on a mail-order brand, because shipping frozen protein is not cheap — it is billed per shipping address and typically lands in the twenty-to-thirty-dollar range unless the order qualifies for one of the promotions Omaha Steaks runs more or less continuously. Read that the other way and it is also the constraint: a $50 card is not $50 of steak once the cooler is paid for, so buy the tier that matches the order you actually intend to place.

Delivery is a scheduled date, not a guess. You choose the arrival day at checkout, the box travels frozen on dry ice, and the contents stay solid through the delivery day even if nobody is home to bring it in immediately — but the December calendar fills early, so a card bought as a Christmas present is best redeemed in November rather than on the 22nd. Ship-to is the United States: Alaska and Hawaii are served only with an added charge on expedited service, and there is no international shipping and no delivery to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Buying it here needs no Omaha Steaks account, no card on file and no identity check. You give us a delivery email, pay in the coin you already hold, and the claim code arrives in about eleven minutes — which is also how someone outside the United States sends a freezer's worth of food to a household inside it. The balance itself never expires and carries no dormancy or inactivity fee.

Domande e risposte

Dettagli per le carte Omaha Steaks. Per domande generali sui pagamenti crypto, consulta la FAQ del sito.

Where does Omaha Steaks ship — and what about Alaska and Hawaii?

The United States, and that is the hard edge of this card. Deliveries across the contiguous states are routine; Alaska and Hawaii are served only with an added charge and an expedited service, because the box has to stay frozen the whole way. There is no international shipping, and Omaha Steaks will not send perishables to a PO box or an APO/FPO address. Check the destination before you buy the denomination, not after.

Does the card pay for shipping, or just the meat?

The whole order — food, packaging, shipping and handling, and tax. That is unusual and it is worth planning around, because shipping frozen protein is billed per shipping address and typically runs in the twenty-to-thirty-dollar range unless the order qualifies for one of the free-shipping promotions Omaha Steaks runs. A $100 card is therefore roughly $70-80 of actual food plus the cooler, so size the card to the box you intend to order.

How does frozen food arrive, and do I have to be home?

Everything is individually vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen, then packed into a polystyrene cooler with dry ice and handed to a carrier for a delivery date you choose at checkout. The cooler is built to hold through the delivery day, so a box that sits on the porch for a few hours is normal rather than a disaster — but move it into the freezer the same day, and do not book a date when the house will be empty for a long weekend.

Can I redeem it by phone or in a store, or is it online only?

All three. The code works at checkout on omahasteaks.com, it can be read out to an agent on a phone order, and it is accepted at Omaha Steaks company stores. The online route is the one worth using for a gift, because that is where you pick the delivery date and see the shipping charge quoted before the balance is applied.

What does a $250 card actually buy?

Enough to stock a freezer for a season rather than cook one dinner. In practice a $250 balance covers a substantial combination package — steaks, burgers, chicken, a couple of sides and a dessert — with the shipping charge taken out of the same balance. At $100 you are looking at a solid grill weekend for a family; at $50, after shipping, a modest box of one or two items.

Does the balance expire, and can I combine several cards?

No expiry and no fees. Omaha Steaks gift-card balances do not lapse and carry no dormancy, service or inactivity charge, which puts them above the five-year federal floor the US Credit CARD Act sets. Several codes can sit on one account and be drawn down together, and if an order runs past the balance the remainder goes on another payment method at checkout.

How fast does the code arrive, and can I send it to someone else?

The claim code is emailed once your payment confirms on chain, about eleven minutes on median. Type the recipient's address into the delivery field at checkout and it goes straight to them — the code never appears on the payment page, so it stays between the two of you. Nothing is kept on our side beyond delivering it.

Which coins can I pay with, and is there a minimum?

Eight — Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, Litecoin and TRON. The floor on gift cards is $50 USD-equivalent, so the smallest Omaha Steaks card here is $50; custom amounts run to $1,000 for a serious freezer order. No account, no KYC and no identity document at any point.
