À propos de cette carte

DICK'S Sporting Goods has been selling the American sports cupboard since Dick Stack opened a bait-and-tackle shop in Binghamton, New York in 1948. Today it is roughly 850 US stores carrying cleats, running shoes, bats, racquets, free weights, kayaks, hunting and camping kit, licensed team jerseys and a wall of youth-league gear that gets outgrown every spring. A gift card is store credit against all of it, online and at the till.

The reason to pick this card over a narrower one is where it is honoured. The same code works at ordinary DICK'S stores, at the big experiential House of Sport locations with their climbing walls, batting cages and outdoor turf, at Golf Galaxy, at the outdoor-specialist Public Lands banner, and at the Going Going Gone! clearance stores — and on golfgalaxy.com and publiclands.com as well as the main site. Very few US retail cards reach five nameplates and three checkouts.

The credit behaves like cash on the order: applied at the payment step, valid on sale and clearance, valid on the services the stores sell — a Golf Galaxy club fitting, a bike build, a racquet restring — and drawn down automatically. The remainder stays on the card, any shortfall is charged to a second method, and ScoreCard loyalty points still accrue on the merchandise, because a gift card is a tender type rather than a discount. There is one hard exclusion: you cannot buy another gift card with it.

Buying it here takes no DICK'S account, no card on file and no identity check — a delivery email is all we need. The constraint to name before you pay is geography: this is the US programme, redeemed at US stores and on the US sites, so it belongs to someone shopping and shipping inside the United States.

Questions et réponses

Spécificités des cartes DICK'S Sporting Goods. Pour les questions générales sur le paiement crypto, consultez la FAQ du site.

Which stores actually take this card?

All of the family. The same code is honoured at DICK'S Sporting Goods stores, DICK'S House of Sport, Golf Galaxy, Public Lands and the Going Going Gone! clearance stores, and online at dickssportinggoods.com, golfgalaxy.com and publiclands.com. That is roughly 850 US doors and three separate checkouts on one balance.

DICK'S bought Foot Locker — does the card work there?

No. Foot Locker keeps its own gift-card programme, its own stores and its own checkout, and a DICK'S card is not accepted at a Foot Locker register. Common ownership does not merge gift-card rails, and nothing has been announced that would. If Foot Locker is the intended shop, buy a Foot Locker card instead.

Do ScoreCard points still accrue if I pay with a gift card?

Yes. A gift card is a tender type, not a discount, so the merchandise still counts toward ScoreCard as long as the account is attached to the transaction — signed in online, or the phone number given at the register. What does not earn points is buying gift cards themselves, which is a separate rule.

Can I use it to buy another gift card?

No — this is the one explicit exclusion in the terms. eGift cards cannot be spent on other gift cards, in store or online, which blocks the usual laundering-through-plastic route. Everything else in the catalogue is fair game, including sale, clearance and licensed team merchandise.

Does it cover big-ticket items and in-store services?

Yes. The balance settles the whole order total, so it works on kayaks, treadmills, bikes and full team kit as easily as on a pair of socks — and on the services the stores sell, such as a Golf Galaxy club fitting, a bike build or a racquet restring. That is what the $500 face value and the custom amount up to $1,000 are for.

Does the balance expire, and can I combine several cards?

It never expires and carries no service, dormancy or inactivity fee. Several codes can be applied to one order and are drawn down in turn; if the order costs more than they cover, the remainder goes on a card or wallet at the same checkout, and if it costs less, the leftover value stays on the card.

How fast does the code arrive, and can I send it straight to someone else?

The code is emailed once your payment confirms on chain, about eleven minutes on median. Type the recipient's address into the delivery field at checkout and it goes to them directly — the code is never displayed on the payment page, so it stays between the two of you.

Which coins can I pay with, and is there a minimum?

Eight — Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, Litecoin and TRON. The floor on gift cards is $50 USD-equivalent, so the smallest DICK'S card here is $50 and the ladder runs to $500 with a custom amount up to $1,000. No account, no KYC, no identity document at any point.
