Acerca de esta tarjeta

KAY has been selling jewellery in America since 1916, when the Kaufmann brothers opened their first store in Reading, Pennsylvania. It is now the largest banner of Signet Jewelers, the biggest diamond-jewellery retailer in the world, with roughly 900 KAY stores in the United States plus the KAY Outlet fleet — the chain behind a slogan most Americans can finish without prompting.

The balance covers the whole floor rather than a gift category: engagement and bridal, lab-grown diamonds, pre-owned jewellery, watches, personalised pieces and the designer lines KAY carries such as Le Vian, Disney and Monique Lhuillier Bliss. It also pays for the counter work that keeps jewellery wearable — resizing, repair, cleaning and inspection — which is a better use of a modest card than trying to make it cover a stone.

The scope question worth settling before you buy: Signet issues a separate gift card for each banner. This one is a KAY card, honoured at KAY and KAY Outlet stores and on kay.com; Zales and Jared sit under the same parent but run their own cards, and a KAY number is not accepted at either. Two other limits come from the same terms — a gift card cannot be used to buy another gift card, and it cannot be applied to a KAY credit card account balance.

Everything else behaves the way it should on a high-ticket card. The value does not expire and carries no dormancy or service fee, several cards can be applied to one purchase, and anything above the balance is settled with whatever other payment the store takes — including its own credit programme, which is how most large pieces are actually bought. Buying it here needs no KAY account and no identity check: a delivery email, a payment in the coin you already hold, and the code arrives in about eleven minutes.

Preguntas y respuestas

Detalles de las tarjetas KAY Jewelers. Para preguntas generales sobre pagos crypto, consulta la FAQ del sitio.

Does a KAY gift card work at Zales or Jared?

No. All three are Signet banners and they share a commerce platform, but Signet issues a separate gift card per banner and they are not interchangeable at the till. A KAY card is honoured at KAY and KAY Outlet stores and on kay.com — buy the matching banner's card if the recipient shops at Zales or Jared.

Can it go toward an engagement ring?

Yes. The card is ordinary tender at the counter, so it applies to bridal exactly as it does to a pair of earrings — including lab-grown diamond settings and the designer bridal lines. On a ring priced well above the card, the balance simply comes off first and the rest goes on another payment method, financing included.

Is it accepted at KAY Outlet stores?

Yes — KAY Outlet is part of the same banner, so the card works there as well as at a mainline KAY store. That is worth knowing on a card of this size: outlet clearance is where a $100 or $250 balance goes furthest, since the ticket prices are lower than the full-line floor.

Can I use it for repairs, resizing or cleaning?

Yes, and it is one of the most practical uses. Service work — resizing, repair, stone tightening, cleaning and inspection — rings through the same register as merchandise, so the balance covers it. A card that will not stretch to a new piece still pays for keeping an existing one wearable.

Can it pay my KAY credit card bill?

No. Under the gift-card terms the balance is for purchases, not for settling a KAY credit card account, and it also cannot be used to buy another gift card. Those two exclusions aside, it behaves as normal store credit across merchandise and services.

Does the balance expire or lose value?

No. KAY gift-card balances do not expire and carry no dormancy, service or inactivity fee, which matters on a jewellery card — these are often held for months until an anniversary or a birthday comes around. A card bought today is worth the same amount whenever it is finally used.

Can I combine several cards on one purchase?

Yes. More than one gift card can be applied to a single order or counter transaction, and whatever the cards do not cover is charged to another payment method. That makes it practical to build toward a larger piece with several cards rather than one very large one.

Which coins can I pay with, and what are the limits?

Eight — Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Solana, USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, Litecoin and TRON. The catalogue floor is $50 USD-equivalent and a custom amount here runs up to $1,000, which suits jewellery ticket sizes. No account, no KYC and no identity document at any point.
